About this product

Full-Wrap Printed Straws

A paper straw is wound from a flat printed ribbon, which means the artwork is applied before the straw exists. Get that right and a stripe runs cleanly up the spiral; get it wrong and a wordmark is chopped into fragments that never line up.

So this is a layout job rather than a printing one. We set the artwork to the winding pitch, which is what makes a repeating pattern read as a pattern and a name read as a name. It is also why straws with a logo on them so often look like an accident.

Food-safe inks throughout, and we will tell you honestly which colours hold on paper and which drift. Deep blues and blacks are reliable; a very light pastel on kraft is not the colour you approved on a screen.

FAQ

Full-Wrap Printed Straws: quick answers

What is the minimum order for printed straws?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
Why does our logo look broken on straws?
Because the artwork was not set to the winding pitch. The straw is wound from a flat printed ribbon, so a layout that ignores the spiral gets chopped into fragments. It is a layout fix, not a print-quality one.
Will you match any colour?
Closely, and we will tell you where paper fights you. Deep colours hold well; very light pastels on an unbleached stock drift toward the paper. We would rather say that at proof stage than after a hundred thousand straws.
